Metrics

Your Personal Command Centre

Think of the Metrics page as your daily launchpad. It’s not just about looking at graphs; it’s about getting a snapshot of your entire workspace in one place.

This is where you start your day to see what’s due, what’s coming up, and how effectively you (and your team) are working. It combines your immediate schedule with high-level insights, so you can spot bottlenecks before they happen.

Inside Metrics:

FeaturePurpose
Recent JamsA quick-access history of the Jams you’ve visited or contributed to lately, letting you jump straight back into the conversation.
CalendarA visual view of your schedule, integrated with your work calendar so you can see your blocked time versus free time.
Topic CompletionA progress tracker showing how many Jam topics have been resolved versus those still pending, giving you a clear view of project velocity.
Productivity TrendsA longitudinal view of your work habits, helping you spot if you are spending too much time in calls vs. deep work.
Engagement OverviewA reflection of the Sentiment you and your team have nominated across Jams, acting as a “mood ring” for your projects.
Upcoming DeadlinesA prioritized list of Tasks assigned to you that are due soon, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
Upcoming EventsA specific list of your upcoming scheduled Calls, so you know exactly when you need to be “camera ready.”
NotificationsYour alert stream for mentions, task assignments, and Jam updates, centralised in one view.

Using Metrics:

The Metrics page is designed to be your morning coffee companion - the first thing you check to orient yourself.

  1. Check Your Pulse

Start by looking at Productivity Trends, Topic Completion, and Engagement Overview to gain insights into your productivity and taskload.

  2. Plan Your Day (Calendar & Events)

Review the Calendar, Upcoming Events and Upcoming Deadlines to see your “hard landscape” - the fixed points in your day you can’t move.

Action: Identify the gaps between events to schedule your deep work.

  3. Clear the Decks (Deadlines & Notifications)

Scan Upcoming Deadlines to see what’s urgent.

Check Notifications to see if anyone is waiting on you for an answer.

Action: Use the ‘Recent Jams’ list to jump directly into the threads that need your input to unblock your team.

[!TIP] Tool Tip: 💡 Treat your Productivity Trends graph as a personal health check for your work habits. Use it to spot patterns in your output and engagement levels so you can protect your focus time before burnout sets in.

Quick Start:

Grab your coffee and get oriented. Tick these off to start your day with clarity:

  • Check the Pulse: Look at Engagement Overview and Topic Completion to see how the team (and the work) is progressing.

  • Map Your Day: Review Upcoming Events and your Calendar to find the gaps where you can do deep work.

  • Triage Urgency: Scan Upcoming Deadlines so you know exactly what needs to be finished today.

  • Unblock the Team: Clear your Notifications and jump into Recent Jams to answer questions and keep things moving.
