Channels

Your Home Base

Channels keep collaboration organised.

Think of Channels as the dedicated home base for a specific team (e.g. ‘Marketing’) or project (e.g. ‘Website’). Instead of scattering context across different apps, a Channel groups every tool your team needs to collaborate (Chats, Jams, Tasks, and Notes) into one specific space.

Inside a Channel:

Inside a channel, you’ll find tabs for Chat, Jams, Tasks, and Notes.

FeaturePurpose
ChatReal-time conversation with threads & replies
JamsWorkspaces created under this Channel
TasksAll actions generated within this Channel
NotesShared docs for plans, briefs, or decisions

📌 Are you a visual learner? Check out the video below for an in-depth, interactive walkthrough of this feature.

Creating a Channel:

Get your team organized by creating a dedicated space for context.

  1. Click + New Channel under the Collab header in your sidebar.

  2. Name it: Give it a clear name (e.g. ‘Marketing’) so the team knows what it’s for.

  3. Set Visibility: Choose Public (open to the org) or Private (invite-only).

  4. Add details: Add a short description and pick an emoji icon to give the channel some personality and make it easy to identify.

  5. Gather the team: Invite your teammates or grab the access link to share directly.

[!TIP] Tool Tip: 💡 Keep your workspace clean. If a project is finished, archive the Channel to remove the clutter without deleting the history.

Quick Start:

Ready to organize your team? Tick these off to get started:

  • Click + New Channel under the Collab header.
  • Give it a clear title (e.g., ‘Marketing’ or ‘Project-Alpha’).
  • Choose Public for open access or Private for invite-only.
  • Pick a relevant emoji icon and write a short description.
  • Invite your teammates so you aren’t talking to yourself.
