Using Ripple
Getting Started
Whether you’ve just created a workspace or accepted an invite from your team, getting in is simple.
Step 1: Your Invitation & Sign-In
-
The Invite: You’ll receive an email invitation. Click ‘Join Now’ to accept.
-
Signing In: Once you’re set up, just head to ripple.team and click ‘Sign In’ at the top right.
Step 2: Set Your Status
Let your team know if you’re around without them having to ask. At the bottom of the left sidebar, you’ll see your profile. The coloured dot indicates your availability.
| Status | Icon | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Online | 🟢 | You are active and ready to collaborate. |
| Away | 🟡 | You are temporarily away from the keyboard. |
| Do Not Disturb | 🔴 | You are in deep work mode - no interruptions, please. |
| Invisible | ⚪ | You appear offline but can still work. |
The Layout: Finding Your Way Around
Ripple is divided into three main panels to keep you oriented. The left sidebar and the middle panel are constant, whereas the right panel appears inside specific tools.
This is your anchor - everything in Ripple starts from the left sidebar. It’s your navigation hub, listing your essential tools from top to bottom:
-
Logo: Your home and “Quick Create” button.
-
Collab: Your main team workspace.
-
DMs: Where your direct messages live
-
Tasks: Your action items.
-
Jams: Your focused collaboration spaces.
-
Notes: Your documentation.
-
Metrics: Your personal analytics dashboard.
[!TIP] 💡 Tool Tip: Hover over the Logo icon at the top left to instantly create a new Jam, Call, Task, or Note from your current screen.
This is your current page view, determined by whichever tool you’re using. The header at the top of this section always displays the name of the tool in the left and the search bar in the middle.
In the tools where this panel appears, it is your tools settings view. The contents that appear in this panel are tool-dependent
